A 'folksy' duet from a 'son of our soil' Bharathiraja film - that sounds so folksy and filled with soul/spirit even without the usual dholaks and nadas that Tamil songs were used to.

'Sounds' is what sets Rahman apart from other MD's - so much so that one could even go to the extent of broadly classifying Tamil (or even Indian) film music as - 'Pre' and 'Post' Rahman era! This song is a case in point. Just finished listening and now again rewinding back to the below song.
